Mr.Shiva Adhikari who born in Fulkharka of Dhading district has been associate with the Nepal tourism industry since 2000. He is the Founding Director of Adrift Adventures (P) Ltd. and also the Founder and President of Nepal Mountain Travel and Tours (P.) Ltd . He also holds six years of experience in hotel management services, involved in numbers of social organizations like Fulkharka welfare society and “Save the River” dialogue team co-coordinator. Who holds Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Journalism.  Mr. Adhikari is the largest co-operative in the tourism sector; the energetic spoken entrepreneur is also the Secretary of Nepal Association of Rafting Agencies (NARA). Mr. Adhikari is also the promoter in tourism development bank and Water sports, among others. He has spent several years working and exploring the rivers and Natures of Nepal. He is always ready to share his deep knowledge of Nepal and its myriad cultures, plants, and animals.He imparts essential knowledge that he gained through his 17 years of outdoor experience, I am as passionate as ever about introducing people to our cherished rivers and wild places and showing people the best outdoor experience of their lives. Because as I've grown to understand over the years, we save what we love and we love what we know. Mr. Adhikari has been working hard in the recovery of the quake-hit tourism industry and to rebuild infrastructures destroyed by the April 25th, disaster "Gorkha earthquake". He believes in hard work, honesty, transparency and has always said, the strong determination will take one to success.

We do not have camp fires and we strongly discourage trekkers from buying wood-fueled hot showers in lodges along the trail. As a firm supporter of the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG) we are also sensitive to porter protection by providing a good working wage for all of our Nepalese staff, food and extra clothing for those working above the tree line, life insurance cover and emergency helicopter insurance. Our benevolent programs ensure we ‘give something back’ to our people. Our current initiative is a ‘Community Holiday Program’. The concept behind our Community Program of Travel trips is based on the culture of “travel with a purpose”.
